The 4 Models of Reinvention

Uncategorized Jun 17, 2021

When a woman begins to feel like something’s missing, when she realizes she’s living her own life by someone else’s rules,  when she starts feeling invisible and like her only purpose is to support others’ goals,

She is at a crossroads in her life.

This often happens when she finally lifts her head up and takes a breath after years of crazy-busy child-rearing.

It might hit her when her children start driving, or it might hit her when she’s done getting them settled in at college or their new apartment, or maybe on the day they get married.

But when she reaches this point in her life, she’ll adopt one of two mindsets:

  • One – that her best years and most important accomplishments or contributions are behind her,
  • Or two – that her best years are yet to come and that she still has much to offer and much to accomplish.

The first mindset (that her best years are in the past), leads to resentment, boredom and resignation.

The second (that she’s just getting started) leads to excitement, fulfillment and making a difference. Or rather passion, purpose and fun!

Which will you adopt?

If the second one sounds better to you, stay tuned because in the next 4 episodes, I’ll share 4 brilliant ways that this mindset can manifest in your life!

We’ve seen soon-to-be and empty-nest moms dust themselves off and do extraordinary things in each of these 4 areas…

  • Artist
  • Champion
  • Entrepreneur
  • Adventurer

Many times, she decides to embrace all 4!

If you’d like to find out which one speaks to your heart the most, you can take our quiz:

No matter which one appeals to you, now is the time to revive your dreams and bring them to life.

It’s time to put all of that amazing experience and wisdom you’ve gained, about yourself and the world, to great use in achieving your dream life.

It’s time to stop playing small and start showing up as the person you were meant to be.

If not now, when?

Think of it this way, at what age do you want your kids to give up on their dreams?

At what age do you want them to say, okay, that’s all I’m going get out of life.

Never, right?

The best way to teach them to never give up on their dreams is to show them how it’s done.

This was a real “aha” moment for me. When it hit me that me giving up on my dreams was me being a terrible role model for my kids, I changed my thinking quick!

I want my kids to see my example and know that it’s never too late for them to achieve anything they set their mind to.

What do you want your kids to learn from you?

In the next 4 episodes, I’ll break down each of the 4 Models of Reinvention for you so that you can get inspired to stage a reinvention of your own!

See you in the next episode!
